Environmental Policy, Decision Making & Behavior
Dr. Courtney Hammond Wagner’s research is driven by the question of how we design environmental policy for water and agricultural resources to improve community well-being and ecological outcomes. As an interdisciplinary environmental social scientist, Courtney uses rigorous tools and theory from social psychology, economics, political science and ecology to understand how environmental policy shapes communities, individual behavior and landscapes in the real world. Courtney is passionate about leading a community-engaged and solutions-oriented research agenda on environmental governance.
